Why do we say that?
Often we find people search for trips visiting places that are 1000's of miles apart, but specify only a few days for their trip duration. This is usually not practical, or possible. Africa is not a theme park where you can hop on a segway from Cape Town to look at the big waterfall in Zimbabwe. That is a 2000 mile journey.
For example, if you want to visit Cape Town, Kruger and Victoria Falls, you will need a minimum of 2 weeks. If you take a 25 day trip, you get to see Botswana and Namibia as well. The distances are great, but there is much to see along the way :)
